Did you take any pictures? I had my two nieces over a year and a half ago with my parents and took pictures of them shooting for the first time (they are 17 and 22 now) then sent the pics to my sister/ their mom in Washington who has never shot a gun in her life.

I am officially the Cool Uncle (maybe also the "Crazy Uncle" when I am not in the room!).

Not gun related but yesterday was a pretty good day for me.
I arrived at an awards lunch for the go kart club where I tech about 45 minutes late. I had stopped at a store to grab some stuff for later and found a $20.00 in the parking lot so I spent it on the raffle tickets for the club. I won a professional flower arrangement,(gave it away) a pair of mechanics gloves, ( I dont work on my cars anymore) and a pair of rear tires for a kart ( I dont own one.)
I also got a free lunch and 2 beers.
So, I gave the flowers to someone that needed them, kept the gloves and auctioned the tires off for $61.00 and donated that to the club. They insisted I take back my $20.00, fed me and asked me back as tech next year.
All in all, a pretty good day.

I love bolt actions period, My favorite to teach with is a tube fed Magazine ( I hate single shots, I think I already stated that and the reason why),
I've got a British SMLE manf. 1956 and gave one to my daughter manf. 1912.
Good guns that keep doing what they do.

The highlight of my day today was learning I will be able to go spend Thanksgiving with my wife and kids in Oklahoma.

Oh and I won't be charged leave days for it either.

Well who the heck cleaned up? You just let those Az. burros wander in and eat the leftovers and beer cans?

Did you buy a lottery ticket?
You gotta play to lose.

Good going.
