Weatherized a house for a marine who lost both legs in combat. My company did the work for free, and the house was newly constructed and donated to him by the builder. Nice gift for him and his wife. It's a beautiful house with all sorts of handicapped access ways and gadgets to help him in his daily life.

Definitely making it through almost 2 hours visiting the hubby with both kids and NO serious melt downs. I think that's a success.

The highlight of my day was . . . getting my wife home safely and in very good shape, after 4 days in Jefferson University Hospital's neuro-vascular unit, because she suffered the mildest stroke I've ever seen. J.U.H. is in downtown Philly, I won't miss Philly for a long-long-long time!

She's at about 97% - 98% prior to the stroke she suffered Sun./Mon.

Thank you dear God!

Sorry to hear your wife had a stroke, but she is very fortunate it was a mild one!

Man that sucks, but good thing you caught it early. That is the most important thing that will probably lead to her full recovery. I have a friend who had one a year and a half ago, it was pretty significant but she says she has recovered most everything except for some word retrieval. She is 48 years old.

My thoughts are with her.

I'm glad it wasn't more serious. Hope she makes a full recovery soon. Knee mail inbound.
