Getting 2 tire rotations and 3 free oil changes at the dealership. Sweet.

Get to see my mom and little brother. Gotta do the brakes on moms car.

Spending time with my wife and little girl is always a highlight.

The highlight of my day was

Physical therapy!!!! I haven't seen the inside of a gym since the wreck last year. I used to be a gym addict. It feels SO GOOD!

You should have seen the look on their faces when I begged them to let me come back tomorrow. I have to wait until Friday.

I am in the middle of a massive endorphin dump. And I feel like I've been broken in half at the same time!!! This pain is amazing. I feel ALIVE again!!!

What did somebody forget to engage their safety and shoot the dogs front teeth out? Or are we blaming that on the Glock shooters?

Yeah, you'll need those peaches to soften the "blow".

The underwear will still be a total loss, if you have any shred of decency. Some things in life just need to disapear.

Good to be ashore, eh?
Today is my oldest daughters 30th birthday, and my youngest daughters 3rd anniversary. I've been bummed all day that I couldn't be there with them.
I saw them more when I was running boats up and down the coast than I do now working a "real" job.

Today a friend brought me a sandwich. That may seem like such a small thing, but this friend is someone that I just would not have expected that of. As a matter of fact until today I am not sure that I would have really considered her a "friend" in the true sense of the word, but today I do.

It was nice.

Taking a 2 1/2 hour nap. The first day off after 4 12hr days (5 this week) is a waste. No energy to do anything.
A bowl of cereal for breakfast because I couldn't get it together to go out. A bowl of Tom Yum soup and a 6" Subway that were in the refrigerator for dinner.

Going to a car dealership with one of my junior sailors. They had her set up to buy a used 2007 Chevy Cobalt for $9999 at a 8.9% interest rate and a 60 month loan term.

I walked in with her, wearing my uniform and asked the salesman to explain the terms if the deal for a car that books high at $7300.

Walked out with the deal set at $6500, 5.9% (she doesn't have a long credit history), and 48 month term.

I hate dealerships taking advantage of kids who don't know better just because they get a regular paycheck.
