Click on Private Messages up on the right under the banner.
On the left hand side of your User CP - There is an option called Edit Avatar.
Click that.
Then you can upload files from your computer for your avatar.

go into the User CP and click on "Edit your details". Not sure if you have to be a supporting member to do this or not.
