This is a telling statement:

Experts also took note. Nick Minzghor, whose business trains police and military personnel in Seattle, said a quick response to mass shootings is crucial

This guy is one hell of a good man. Not only is he the ripe old age of 25, but he was shot 3 times and still pursued the suspect and dropped him with one well placed round to the chest.
Gentlemen: "TEN HUT & PRESENT ARMS"
This man deserves our respect and admiration....
Excellent story dragunov - I really enjoyed reading that....

Thanks for the story dragunovsks. Glad to see he was only wounded in the foot and leg. Still a hero though.
Now change your dang avatar! DB weak is over, and I'm begging you to not submit me to that 'things' pic any longer!

I thought that was awesome that he entered the building with only a .40 cal Glock and no backup and after he was wounded still went about his duties.
I think I'm gonna leave "Rosie" as my avatar for a while......Just kiddin' , been busy today and haven't had time to get a new picture.

That young man is stout of heart.

this guy is a hero
the saddest thing is he isn't getting the credit he deserves around here.
the police cheif released a statement saying he just did what he was trained to do (in a non-chalant tone) and you hardly ever hear about him when they talk about the shooting

He is extremely brave, and a bona fide hero! The residents of the area need to write their news media in support of this man of men.
Still, he shot once. How many of us could say that we shot once. I hope he was trained to double-tap. Good shot considering the heart racing, sweat rolling, adrenaline pumping situation. Tough guy and deserves a huge medal!
