Well, I'm considering funding a project of a different nature. Considering, but I haven't shot the rifle yet, so I may just fall in love with it!!

From what I see the the blue book of gun values it would be about $400 to $600 depending on condition, then add the value of the scope. Then aganing it might be worth more/less in the real world. I'd hold it until about a month before deer season then sell it if you want to get rid of it. That's when you will get the best price for it. It's a nice rifle and something you might decide to keep after you shoot it.

I have the Remington Cheapo model, 78 Sportsman. It's not worth many $ and I DON'T like the whole Remington action from their sheet metal recoil plate to the beer can extractor, but I can't sell the thing because it's Fiercely Accurate. Bummer huh?
