WOC, what's the word? Hope it was good and you had a real nice breakfast!

Make sure you look for the "read more" link.
That was a very funny read. I particularly liked the Jimmy Hoffa comment. Hysterically funny. Yeah, I drank two bottles of that stuff.

My colonoscopy went well. It took three tries to get the IV in and I was not happy about that but otherwise it was uneventful. They found two diverticulum, which is not uncommon nor dangerous. Dr.'s orders, "See you in 10 years."

WOC-
I've been following this thread, genuinely interested in how you would do .

If someone had told me 10 years ago that I'd one day be concerned about a woman I don't know and never will know getting a colonoscopy, I'd have said they were crazy .

Glad it went well !

See, it wasn't *that* bad, now was it?

Good to hear it went well! Oddly my nurse also had a hard time getting the IV in. Quite painful but she finally got it. I didn't mention before as it had nothing to do with the colonoscopy itself. But was something I didn't need to go wrong, neither did you.

BTW, you are lucky - 10 years. My next is 2 years if I'm still hanging around. And three since last May!

I had mine done at a teaching hospital. I was a bit concerned when the Doctor that was doing the scope, sent the intern out to "get everybody".

I was a lot more comfortable when he told them he wanted to be sure they all saw a beautifully healthy colon.

That is great news. Congratulations. I'm glad you enjoyed the link, but there was no way I was posting it beforehand. Something like that could make some people change their minds, and this is to important to skip.
