Put a "for sale" sign in the company yard. Imagine what the employees would think when they show up to work and find the building is for sale.
Around here they do that to the football at one of the high schools if the team loses to their rival, or just loses too many games. He might wake up Sunday morning to 50 for sale signs in his yard.

My co-workers at my last place of employment put tape over the laser of the mouse on my computer. It took me a while to figure out why my computer wasn't working. LOL I kept say, "My computer seems to be frozen. What's wrong with this thing. " They replied, "Ours are working just fine."

@winds-of-change, a screen shot, left on the screen can aggravate people pretty good too till they realize they're clicking on a jpg or png, and not their actual desktop.

Where I work now, they wouldn't appreciate a good prank like where I last worked.

The worst I've done at my current place is I was troubleshooting an instrument with another new tech. Except he is right out of school and I have many years under my belt. But this young man is smart..........very smart. So, we're trying to get this instrument back up and running and I'm reading from the manual and he's doing the work. We were doing a controlled shut down of the instrument, which can be a little nerve wracking. So, we're to the step where you finally turn off the main power. He's hesitant. Then just as he flips the switch, I say all panicky, "NO!!! WAIT!". The look on his face was priceless. LOL

Chemistry lab. Unplug Bunsen burner hose from gas jet. Fill hose with water. Plug it back on to gas jet. Go to light burner- strike match, hold over burner, turn gas valve- thin stream of water sprays straight up, puts out match.

And that is one reason I wasn't allowed to take chemistry. Can't really blame them now that I look back on it. A vast knowledge of chemistry would be a very dangerous thing in my hands.
Which reminds me, I still haven't gotten around to making thermite.

My kids did the sprayer thick... except they use a tan rubber band on a white sprayer. I antagonized them for almost an hour pretending to turn on the water and then walking away.
