Happy New Year
The wife and I are about to head out to west Texas for our customary New Years celebration. We are actually escaping the dangers of living in a not so pleasant neighborhood by driving four hours west. We want to wish each and everyone of you a pleasant and prosperous New Year! To those few who belive , may you have a Blessed New Year!

I'm heading home to SC in the morning to spend New Years relaxing at home. Two of my kids are still there so it will be an enjoyable time.

Tonight is amateur night, as some friends who are in A.A. have told me. Folks who don’t drink much during the year spend this evening getting snockered beyond belief. It is the night of the “Million Drunk March” on Las Vegas Boulevard as well as countless parties all over the Las Vegas valley and the country. New Year’s Eve is a worldwide celebration to ring in the new year and, in this case, a new decade.
So, here is my wish that to all the folks here on this forum, and to everyone else going out to celebrate at parties, that all have a great time but be safe so you’re still around tomorrow to begin the next decade. If you drink, don’t drive. If you’re at a casino party, rent a room and stay off the street.
Enjoy the evening but be around for tomorrow.
