Default Happy Labor Day (Labour Day if you are Canadian)

Happy Labor day to all. To those who have it, enjoy the day off. To those of you who have to labor today, I hope you have a good, seamless, easy day.

Home and relaxing. Well attempting. Sprayed the yard down with bug and mosquito killer last night. In laws are coming over to grill out. Anyone got a good steak marinade?

Happy Labor Day, hope it's dry somewhere.

equal portions of Worstershire Sauce and light soy sauce. Gives a nice flavor. The light soy is lighter on the salt, I use Kikkoman. Regular soy sauce will also work. I have also been known to throw some minced garlic in with it.

Before you grill it, dump the marinade, and rinse off and dry the steaks. It should help allow them to sear, which they don't do as well if they are wet.
