Default Happiest moment of my life.

I'm so happy right now. This is the second time in my life I ever remember shedding tears from being happy. I was just told I'm officially accepted into the Canadian Armed Forces!!!

How wonderful. I know you've been wanting to join for a while. Your perseverance paid off.

I'm going for Combat Engineer, but I'm not sure what they've got me in as because I first applied as Infantry. I was told I couldn't do that and had to pick a different one of the three I choose at first (Infantry, Combat Engineer and Field Artillery). Then I was told Infantry is/was open......frankly though, I'm just so glad I finally was told I'm official. It's been close to three years since I applied.

I beg to differ!

But I'm blessed with the micro brews of the PNW. That... And Steelhead are the only reasons I stay...

Congrats op! Serving your country is something you'll never regret and all of us crusty vets applaud your decision.

Be safe! Tack
