Mine are as follows.
1. Rem 1100 Sold to pay rent.
2. Smtih M17 K-22 8 3/8" barrel target sights, trigger, hammer. Shot like it had eyeballs. Stolen by angry Ex GF.
3. Ruger M77vt 220 Swift with Old blued steal weaver and timmney trigger. Stolen by a friends son to buy drugs.
4. Marlin (Unknown Model) lever gun in 38-40. never shot it needed a lot of work. Some one painted it all (By all I mean all wood and metal) glossy black.
5. H&R 410 single shot shotgun. Not sure why but I so want a 410 it is not funny. Would love a rem 1100 in 410 and a winchester m42 also.
Now what ever makes a home in the safe stays there. I am a horder now I will never sell another gun ever. |

Hello all
Ron L here = SERESURPLUS
I hate to sound like a Broken record, but hated to part with and miss almost every hand or long gun I sold or traded off! Exception to that rule
1. Ruger Bull Barrell you just had to fight to get back together!
2. 44 magnum made by Iver Johnson, think it was stolen, was out of time and a complete mess, good ridence, hope the thief shot it and got hurt!
Guns I did sell off or traded I miss most:
1. Several 6" Colt Pythons, had a few good 4" but most of the 6" were older models with rich Royal Blue finish and shot so good it was scary! Most sold off to pay bills that were pending, when I was younger with a Family and obligations!
2. Adjustable Site Model Browning Hi Power in 9MM, my first legal handgun I ever bought and gotr it in Hawaii, should have held onto it out of the pure hassle it was to buy it in that stste in the first place! Of course sold off to pay pressing bills!
3. Marlin Papoose, I know they still make it, mine was Blue, now they nonly sell Stainless Steel Model and this one shot really well! Sold to a Friend who's handcapped child needed it more than I did! |

It's a long list, no one ever told me as a young man, "don't ever sell you tools or your guns". I wish they had.
1. my very first gun at age 14 an H&R model 999 .22 (ruined my hearing)
2. at age 15, a Remington .22 semi-auto (good shooter)
3. a Colt SA 38-40, that someone gave me. (stupid, stupid, stupid-I'm crying)
4 a Springfield trapdoor 45-70, someone else gave me. (I'm crying harder)
5. A Walther P-38 I bought in 1968 for $60 dollars. (ouch)
6. An S&W .357 highway patrol Model 19
7. A 12 gage sawed off pump shot gun. There others, but I just can't go on.
I'm slowly rebuilding my collection, but I'm not there yet. I'll never have a Colt SA or a trapdoor again. sniff sniff......
I cry at sad movies too, and especially during good preaching of the Gospel.
Keep your powder dry. |
