Good call. That is a futuristic weapon right there. Jury is still out on whether it will work in the field or not.

Hey, you're only going to be fighting zombies, what's the risk?!

Having now seen, and handled, the Kel-Tec shotgun I have questions that have not been addressed yet.

The shotgun features dual tubes and one of the key benefits is that you can select which tube to feed from.

The benefit? LEO's can stage breaching rounds and take down rounds in the same entry level shotgun. Breach the door and then switch over to real activity rounds once inside.

Now, it's got a lot of plastic and "less than solid steel" on it, how does that translate to real world use?

The grip for the front hand is very wide, even for my big hands, so how does it control in heavy stress situations? They immediately added a vertical fore-grip to compensate, but still.

I like the concept, but the jury is still out.

Check out the Rossi "Ranch Hand" mare's leg pistol. Gotta be good for somebody. Same guy could carry a sawed off 20 ga O/U for in a crossdraw rig for very close encounters.

$536 MSRP for a .44 mag Zombieland "sidearm"??

Hell, I might have to add one to the safe just because at that price.

Thanks freefall. *respect*

Exotics? Or what you would have post apocalypse? How about a good old Winchester 1897 pump shotgun, a couple of GSG (MP5 Clone .22LR's), plenty of 1911 .45's, of course some Henry lever guns (you pic the caliber), and lastly a Barrett .50!!

The background of the main characters would influence what kind of arms they would have/use. City folk, probably semi-auto pistols or Tec9 type of semi's if they are gangsta. Rural peeps would more likely have hunting types of guns. Unless they have scavenged what they are using then all bets are off, whatever is in the catalog would work.
I would say 12 gauge shotguns with short barrels, US military arms, and for the benefit of the forum there needs to be PROMINENT use of bayonets. Some feel a rifle just isn't dressed properly without a stabber on the end.

I gotta suggest the Medusa model 47.... Its the most interesting looking revolver and it shoots a bunch of different calibers......
