Guns 101-Hollywood

America has learned a lot from Hollywood about guns.

For example: Glock 17 is a porcelain gun that can't be detected by airport x-ray machines. Die Hard 2

Or

You can fire a bazooka from inside a helicopter without destroying the interior behind you. Rambo 2

Ok...your turn.....

You can fire 12 shots from a .38 revolver.....(countless examples)

You can take hundreds of head shots in the boxing ring and live (rocky all of them)

When you are a spy going against guys with Glock 18s, all you need is a .380 that kills with one shot at over a 100 meters. Skyfall
Heck, that goes for any Bond film.

Why is it that the "Good-guy" can make 300 incredible shots in spectacular ways , but can never seem to hit the "Bad-guy" ?So goes the (FIGHT-SCENE) !

A single shot from any pistol will blow you straight through the saloon's front window and roll you across the planks to die in the dirt of the main street! (Every western ever made)

Movies (and TV) teach that after you have missed hitting your opponent with a magazine full of cartridges, you may be able to hit him by throwing the gun at him.

Lead bullets make sparks when they hit something hard.
