gun tests magazine
 

Forgot who suggested them. Anyway...I subscribed with a bill me status (still broke). They offer added savings for a 2 year subscription.
Question I have is:
Are they going to hold the subscription until I pay or will I get a magazine so that I can make an educated decision on length of my subscription?

Can't say for sure, but my bet is that you won't get the magazine until they have the money.

It's a good magazine, but expensive for what you get. 3 or 4 articles each month comparing/rating two or three guns each. The good thing is that it's like Consumer Reports, no advertisers... so, if a gun is a piece of cr@p they can and do say so.

I have no doubt its good. It was recommended by a knowledgeable guy. As you say though...pricey

I disagree; if you like hi-gloss mags with studio quality pictures and more revenue generating advertising than gun content then maybe. If you take that same gun rag, strip out the adds, air-brushed pictures and fluff articles; all that remains is your shipping label!

On a quality content, unbiased word count, there is no comparison.
