The Kittery Trading Post is probably the biggest gun shop in Maine. If I remember correctly it's on RT.2. I stopped in there once on my way to Moosehead Lake and was amazed at the size of the place and the volume of guns.

I know a bunch from Winthrop to Portland, but I don't know any in the Bangor Area. How far are you willing to travel?

While you wont have a huge selection of guns to look at or a firing range to try out different guns you can often get the best deals from guys who have their FFL and only sell out of their homes .

Try going to and using their Dealer finder by putting in your zip code , you may just have a few guys withing walking distance of your home that sell guns for as little as 10% over cost+ shipping .
