I thought guns are supposed to have girl names, like boats and cars.

Mr. Cane, 1-Do you take your own pics? (Looks right per-fessional...insert southern twang) Always great visuals...and... 2-grips, your own work? Been eyeballin' a Colt Gold Cup but not impressed with the factory grips, do I need to kill a snake or two?

DOG GRIPS

That's my Defender on his home page.

Just remember when you cover 1911 grips with leather it will add quite a bit of bulk. The first set I got were a standard set of Officer grips and the gun felt too wide for my taste.

I got a set of thin grips and sent them to Mel for the next set. Timber rattler was then used and my Defender picked up the name http://i695.photobucket.com/albums/v...2canebrake.jpg with the Colt serpent C. Leather covered thin grips are about the same size as standard.
