I'd like to learn Italian. It's my family's native language and tradition is important to me.

I took 4 years of German in HS, and kind of wish I'd have paid more attention. I'd like to maybe take some classes on it to brush up, and be more fluent.

If there is a language out there that might surpass English as the world wide standard I believe it will be a Chinese dialect.

Gotta be Russian, for purely sentimental reasons
I did a beginners course at an adult ed centre years ago, and have been meaning to get into it again. Bit more challenging with a non-Latin alphabet, but no where near as mindbending as something like Chinese etc. An atonal language with 4 different definitions of a word depending on it's pitch? whoa lol
