The first time I saw " Flags of our Fathers ", I liked it . The second time, I didn't . The computer generated images, the acting, the apparent Hollywood anti-war message----I dunno ...
The opening voice-over delivered a great line, something like :

" Many people think they understand war, especially those who have never been in one ".

" Enemy at the Gates " seemed to capture the essence of the Battle of Stalingrad and was a great movie . As for historical accuracy, however, it is hard to know what is true and what is legend about Koenig and Zeitsev .

I didn't understand why they ended that movie the way they did when the historical account was far more interesting.
