I forgot Leo Kottke for guitar tunes. He's got a voice like geese farts, but he can sure play.

LOL good call Asmel! I had all of Yusef Islam's records back in the day...
Elvin Bishop did some funny stuff in the 70's as well as David Bromberg, who had a fiddle player in the group by the name of Jay Unger who became a well known blue grass artist and wrote the theme song for the Ken Burns Civil War series. (Ashokan Farewell)

Jackson Brown wrote some good music too, but too depressing...his wife even committed suicide...I wish Croce was still around.
