Default Got a call from the ATF today.

They recovered two out of the four guns that were stolen from me last year!!

One of them is my Uncles rifle and the only one that had sentimental value the other one the officer could only tell me it was a CZ. All three of the pistols were CZ's.

Now I just have to play the waiting game to get them back but I feel so much better now that I know the police have them instead of the bad guys.

Freaking sweet! Usually they're lost forever.

I assume they were found because they were used in a crime? That's usually the case, but not necessarily the rule.

Great news. Maybe they have a trail to the others too? At any rate at least some have been recovered.

That's so good to hear, very happy for you. I have a stolen pistol out there somewhere, hoping to get a call like that out of the blue one day myself. +1 for the good guy for once...

Good news. I'm glad you're getting the rifle back since it has sentimental value.

The local PD found them. The ATF agent was just making sure that they were mine.

Then again this is the first time I have ever had anything good to say about the local PD

That's great, OP.

Usually once they're stolen,

they're gone.
