I'd rather my own son see me die on my feet as a free man, than watch him go, broken, into slavery.

Default This is goodbye for a while...

As I've suspected and feared, I've been neglecting my family. It's not the forum's fault, or anyone here, except for me. This forum isn't even the root of all the trouble, but still, I'm going to have to take some time off to try and save my marriage. As some of you know, I seem to be on here 24/7, and I pretty much am. Apparently I've descended into general douchebaggery as far as being a husband and a father goes, again, my fault and no one else's. I've allowed myself to be preoccupied with selfishness, and apparently, that's not good for a relationship. Who'da thunk it?

So, I'm calling it quits for a while. Gonna be at least a few weeks at the absolute minimum before y'all see me on here again. Take care now.

I admire you for seeing that your actions may be causing the problem instead of blaming. I also admire you for admitting to causing hurt to your wife and family. I wish you the very best in resolving these issues and saving your marriage. Work hard at it. I'll be thinking of you and wish for the very best outcome.

The need to communicate with our inner peace has been a problem for millions of people. What peace we seek I do not know nor do I understand. I get on the computer and seek information that I hope would change my life and make life easier to comprehend. It sort of like seeking God but not finding him. Many people seek peace to make their life easier; few go to music, some go to church, others go to the bar, many go to the internet.

Actually, the internet is the cheaper channel to satisfy the quest of communication because it is here where people find other people who also seek peace, have like minds, same interests, and parallel beliefs. Some times our mate, spouse, or friend cannot fulfill the void of the depth we seek. I hope you find your peace with your family...

Good luck, but don't take all the blame on your shoulders. Sometimes there is a reason a person occupies their time on the computer too.
