Default Good day between a few LGSs

One has .223rem, picked up 120 rds for $75. I was just glad I could get enough to fill my mags. The other had Remington 597 mags and a 500 end box of .22lr for $50. After so many blank trips to the LGSs I was just elated that they actually had some stock!

62.5 cents/round is too high IMO, but I'm glad you found it. Until we walk away from those prices they won't come down.

I won't pay those prices yet. I have enough on hand, just not enough to go shooting. My intention is to wait for prices to come back then stock up some more.

My lgs is not price gouging at all. I picked up a stainless ruger 10/22 takedown for 329 $ last night and also a 525 round box of .22 for 25 $

Most of the LGSs I've visited in the last few months have been selling .223 at $1 or more per round! That is a little crazy. 500 .22LR for $50, not bad around here right now. I am looking forward to prices coming down, but I don't have huge supplies of ammunition. Before these shortages, I always thought I had enough, but I learned the hard way that I didn't. So if I want to shoot, I have to pay This has really added up too, I've paid better than a quarter a round for .22LR -- sure, it was the good competition stuff but it was the only thing on the shelf when bulk would do. For me, the timing was just bad, my kids were finally coming of an age where I was comfortable with them being around firearms, and then all of this political crap happened.
