303tom , I'll shed a tear with you because there is not a time I have not cried like a baby over the loss of many lost family menpmbers over many years . I've not been without a dog very long ever in my life . A slight time of mourning between but needed to fill the void .

Very sorry for your loss Tom .

I share your feeling. I have had to put several old timers down over the years. It never became easy. They become members of the family.

Tom, I feel your pain more than you could imagine. I lost my Great Dane, Fi (my avatar) over 3 1/2 years ago and still cry every day over her.. These tears are mostly of gratitude for God sharing her with me, but there is still some grief there.

It was the most painful experience in my life (and always will be) - even more than losing my brother and parents - mostly because I was the one who decided it was time.

Give yourself some time, appreciate the blessing God gave you with sharing your pooch with you and entrusting you to its care, and mourn. We would be soulless without mourning. But most of all, never stop thanking God for sharing it with you. Those tears of grief will turn to tears of gratitude, and that is a good thing!

Your buddy will be waiting patiently for you to join it.

After I lost my Fi, she let me know in very unambiguous terms she was in God's Heaven, surrounded by love, and waiting for me. I never experienced that feeling before. Or since.

You'll be good, but it will take time. Appreciate your pooch and you'll see!

RIP Tue. He looks like he knew how to take care of business.

They always leave you with fond memories.

I recently found a close neighbor's dog out in the road.

Got her in the ground quick. Didn't want him to see it like

that, on the way home. We all miss the old girl.

Actually, the third FTF dog this week. I keep in touch with Shihan and he had his 11 year old Boston Terrier put to sleep yesterday.

Tom, I am sorry for your loss. It is difficult.

Tom, I feel you buddy. That's a hard thing to do. I hope it stops hurting sooner than later.

There is another dog out there who needs your love and protection. Go out and bring him home. Don't with hold your reverence to the dogs in need.
