I was in line at the store today picking up some last minute Christmas stuff.

The store has a real radio station on as their entertainment, not that Muzak crap.

That little Cyrus brat comes on with Party in the USA.

I now want to peel back my scalp and take a power sander to the part of my brain that remembers, and replays, song lyrics over and over and over again.

I swear to All that is Holy, if I have this stuck in my head when I go to sleep, and it affects a good night's sleep, that kid is getting put HIGH on my list.

Anyone else have this problem? Good, please share....

I have two tunes that come regularly into my head that I'm sick of. And I have nobody but myself to blame. I frequent this watering hole here in town usually before I get home from a days work to toss back a couple of cool ones. (beer) Theres these three retired old guys that get there usually shortly just after the place opens and are pretty much in the tank long before I usually show up. The first thing they will say alot of times to anyone who shows up there this time of day (late afternoon) is that they can only play country and western on the juke box. Even if no one is even interested in listing to the juke box and it's not playing. These bar flies are really drunk by then.

So when they tell me this I usually try to piss them off for the fun of it and I select Weezer the title track of Hash Pipe.

It's got to the point that I just threaten to put one of these tunes on and they shut their pie holes. Unfortunately, these tunes go on in my head when I do this and it ruins a otherwise peaceful beer or two for me.

I had the same psycological demise with the song Mr. Brightside by The Killers. It was stuck in my head for 3 weeks. No matter what I did I kept play and playing over and over in my head. Same with the Physco Bitch song by Puddle of Mudd.

Heard a ditty on the way to work the other day to the tune of "Frosty the Snowman". "Tiger the spokesman made an awful lot of dough. Pimpin razor blades and Gatorade was the life of this golf pro". It goes on . It's been rattling around my otherwise vacuous skull for about 4 days now. Give me Miley Cyrus, I haven't had that experience. Gonna go put on "Rough Mix" by Pete Townsend and Ronnie Lane.
