I guess the German police hate freedom too. It was simply and alternative to conventional air conditioning. They were probably on the way to pick up their girl friends for a swim.

How did they seal the pool around the accelerator, brake and clutch without affecting their manipulation? I need to find a video!

We were bored one day and started talking about old cars and rumble seats. My friend said those rumble seats were the coolest thing, and he would love to have one. I said "done". Unbolted the trunk lid on his old dart, ran out to a guy that had bus parts, and bought a bus seat. Ratchet strapped it down, and started cruising. Lots of fun at eighteen...but the German engineering won again here on this thread. It's amazing we won ww2.
