As you can probably tell by now......this is a pet peeve of mine and I'm not going to let it drop.

Gas prices where I live are now $4.25/gal.

I just got clued into a program that my local grocery store runs with a local gas station. I get money off my gas costs by shopping at the grocery store. Monday morning I saved $1.80/gallon , costing me only $33 to fill up the Jeep.

You know it's bad here when the gas prices in Illinois are close to the gas prices in Cali.

Nothing secret about it, the local Price Chopper has been running it with Hemming Motors here in Bennington. I never paid attention to it because work used to pay for gas. Now that I'm off on my own, paying $2.20-$2.40/gallon is a whole lot better than $4+
