First, that is NOT what the new law says.

Second, the new law does not go into effect until July this year.
It says that counties, cities, towns, etc in Georgia cannot make laws on carrying, making knives etc that are more restrictive than Georgia State law, with the exception of making rules about knives and courthouses, etc.
It is a "preemption" bill- takes that right away from lower govt, reserves that right to state govt, does NOT change STATE law in any other way.
