Great advise above.

Personally, I have MS Windows Essential, AVG (free version), SpyBot Search & Destroy, and CCleaner on all of my personal computers/laptops.

Having all of these installed and running can be counter productive.

My Mom clicked on one of those. when I was out of the house and when I got back she was telling me about this new virus protection........computer was trashed
