Future politicians' exposure
I hear about the mass "look at me" web sites (myspace, facebook, etc.) all the time now. It got me to spinning a gear or two upstairs. *close eyes, picture smoke from ears*
How many future politicians will have to say, "Well, I was young and I'm grown up now. Those pictures and blogs and friends I had on that web site are not representative of the person I am today. The pictures of me in a ninja suit and the ones of me passed out half naked were in my younger days. I have learned from my mistakes as we all do when we grow up and mature."
Or, "That is my face, but not my body. I would have never posted pictures of myself naked with guys snorting coke off of my breasts."
Or, "What home made porn movie? That is not me."
Maybe politics will be more fun in the future. I'm thinking 12-15 years. Think about it, how many times have you heard about some actress, reality show contestants, reporters and other 20 somethings that have suspect material on the internet?
If you have children or will have in the future, the protection of your family does not end with the ability to arm yourself. The internet can be another back door to your house that you need to keep an eye on. Jmho.
