funny job
So I got in a benelli supernova with pistol grip today. It landed on my bench while I was out picking up a collapsible stock for a Leo. So I ask the boss what the deal with the shotgun is. He says the guys friend worked on it and now it doesn't cycle.
Ok so I pick up the gun and its jammed in the open position. I give it a yank and the pump comes forward. Obvious right off is the fact that its jamming on the heat shield. I strip the gun, clean it and grease it. Put it back together and I remove the flashlight and mount someone added. Push the heat shield back to were it is supposed to be and then mount the light forward of the heatshield. Gun cycles perfectly. They had moved the heatshield forward so they could set the light back further. Which was causing it to jam and short cycle.
That'll be $50. Thank you come again.

Good work! Sometimes just a different (or more experienced), set of eyes will be all it takes. :)

Honestly I almost feel bad taking money in those situations. Atleast I give it a complete going through and clean and grease it for them. I'm sure others wouldn't. I still get a giggle out of it.
