FTF Where the Locals Eat.
Ok like diners drive-ins and dives. Where are the places that the locals go to eat good food for decent prices.
With the member base here we should be able to get a ton of places to visit when we are traveling around.
So lets hear it.
Here we got five guys burgers. For Italiano there is a place in downtown Fredericksburg that is to die for. Meat balls are the size of a babies head. I forget the name I will find it.

A small "hole in the wall" called the "Oval Office", with the "MyrtleBurger" (so many fried onions that you can't taste the meat).

Two great bakeries here are The Icing and Colonial Cupcakes.
If you want a place with a Beer list to rival many $200 a place restaurants wine list. The Capital Ale House is the place to go.
For Mexican we have a family owned chain local to central VA. Pancho Villa

Very few restaurants where I live, but Las Mananitas in Pipe Creek, Texas is the best Mexican food I've had in a long, long time. Dirty, but I overlook that.

Oh and Ice Cream here in Fredericksburg is Carl's Ice Cream. Not hard pack and not soft Serve. They still use these OLD ice cream machines to make it.

While not local to me. I still work about 30 miles south of Hattiesburg a few times a year and I would drive even 150 miles more to have some Leathas BBQ!
