I love French onion soup. It takes forever to make but it's worth it.

The best presentation I ever had was at the restaurant at Jacksonville Marina (don't remember the restraunt name), the soup was served in giant, hollowed out sweet onions.
The soup, however, was average.
Such a good idea wasted.
