Ah, that is why I am so well preserved and look young for my age.

I won't let hubby drink diet pop and my parents have switched to diet rite I believe because it does not contain aspartame. My sister used to work for a great orthopedic surgeon and he did a lot of research on aspartame and links to arthritis and other issues. I steer clear of it in gum as well. It's in most sugar free gums too.

My mom had a small tumor on the backside of her eardrum. The first thing the doctor asked was if she drank diet pop. She said yeah, but only one a day. He said that is way too many, and she should stop drinking it immediately. She didn't.

I know, people, that is only one doctors opinion. I just think it is a good example of what professionals know about that stuff.

We need a law. Mayor Bloomberg where are you? Diet Cola could be controlled by the BACCTF {Bureau Of Alcohol Coke-a- Cola Tobbaco and Firearms}.
No mail order cokes, licensed dealers and FDA background checks. No purchases by people under 21 years of age. Any obese person found in possession of Coke would be considered a felon.
We could call this the Mrs. Obama Coke and Cheeseburger Protection Act. After all this would protect the children.

So we'll have the "BACCTF" fighting to get the "Coke" off the streets while the CIA secretly imports it into the country? LOL

Here's my idea. We take the BATF, they keep the B, we take away the A,T & F, and add OC. (OF COKE). Then we tell them "Your new job is to make sure I never get a crappy fountain Coke again - GO!"
