I decided to buy a Hi Point to see what the fuss is about. I tried the gun, it works as designed. I sold the gun, I didn't like it, 'cause I'm a gun snob.:D But, really, I have nothing bad to say about them...

Those of us who know everything, are annoyed by those who think they do. :D

I learned a couple things about my DE44.

Due to it's size and type {i.e.-a 44 Rem Mag Auto-Loader}

it has inherent weight and handling issues.

BUT:

1. Hold it properly & support it firmly against recoil-

2. Allow the mag to hang-

3. Shoot it well-

--and it will perform jam-free, and shoot bulls-eyes.

This I culled from reading posts here, at FTF, on the topic, and I'm

glad I stuck with it, and developed the skill to shoot it properly.

I decided I would never ask a gun forum what they thought about my gun after I bought it. :eek:

I may show you a picture, but I will NOT ask your opinion. :p

I learned that when Austin says," sigh up for the Forum giveaway" you sign up.

that one still amazes me. a person buys a gun and then ask for advice or thoughts about it after the fact? i do my research before i buy something i am not familiar with.

and if i did buy something that turned out to be a lemon because i didn't do my homework before i bought it, ain't none of you ever going to hear one thing about it!:p
