I've read the several threads bringing this together and I am impressed with the effort put into this. With out question seems like a learming expereince that will provide me with skills I don't have or seldom use. Count me in.

I'll add three short articles between Friday and Saturday:
-Choosing a bushcraft knife
-Reasons behind our choice for the official FTF knife model
-Basic knifecraft and care (including some pimping tips for the FTF knife)
After we're done with steel, we'll move on to fire. We're taking it a bit slow because we want to have the FTF knives ready for anybody who might want one before starting with all the assignments.

Will you be awarding merit badges, like in the Boy Scouts, to use as an avatar by those who complete each evolution?
For example, Wood Carving
