Unbelievable!! Was that a tow chain he was draging? You have to wonder how he kept the engine running when it was obviously submerged!

As long as the intake is clear and the motor doesn't stall out, he's golden.
But NEVER, EVER hit the starter when your truck is stalled in a deep muddy waterhole....... Please don't ask how I know.......

I have watched this done before several times on TV. They showed the roads in Russia and how it is the only way across basically. but still, WOW!

The engine is in the cab. In the middle of driver an passenger seat. And most likely diesel. Once saw on u tube a U. S. Military truck completely submerged and running, the only thing sticking out of the water was the two exaust pipes. The driver baled out. the truck ran for twelve hours and ran out of fuel. Go figure.....

on YouTube there are some videos of the 6x6 trucks rigged up like this. pretty cool stuff. i'd love to have some scuba gear and a truck set up like this. then drive down the river to my buddy's house.
