Food Poisoning.
Well last night I started feeling fairly bad around bed time and thought it was probably because I had forgotten to take my medicine a day or two ago. So I went on to bed, but couldn't sleep at all and needless to say I started feeling worse and worse. Well I finally fell asleep for about and hour or two and woke up around 1am this morning extremely sick. I decided to search for food poisoning symptoms, because I had eaten raw cookie dough which said on the package "Do not eat raw cookie dough"  . Sure enough I had all the symptoms so I drove myself to the hospital and sure enough I had gotten food poisoning (thanks to not paying any attention to the warning on the container -.-).

Actually they tell you not to eat raw cookie dough because of the eggs in it which can give you salmonella. Food poisoning I'd entirely different. The only good thing about food poisoning is that once it's out of your system it's completely gone, no more sickness.

I thought food poisoning relates to pretty much anything you can eat that makes you sick, other than something like over eating or getting heartburn, or an allergic reaction. I.E. if it makes you run from both ends.
I KNOW this is the rule that applies for common laymen.

Prior to going to the hospital I had looked up food poisoning and to my suprise salmonella is actually a form of food poisoning or atleast it can be. I'm feeling a lot better now, but I'm just gonna take it easy for a few days to see how I do.

Wow. Been living on the edge for a long time---raw cookie dough, cake
batter, etc. Heck--fresh egg-nog is probably a killer (if you don't add
enough whiskey to kill the bugs).
A lot of what gets passed off as food poisoning is actually norovirus. Have
had a couple of bouts with it over the years--nasty stuff.

Food Poisoning........
I got this one time from eating a samich I bought at the local store... The sickness lasted 3 days.... We buy mayonaise by the gallon and never refrigerate, when we had chickens in the back yard, the eggs stayed on the counter. When ever it comes to tasting spoiled food I all ways have my wife do the tasteting.....Its the filth in the massed produced product that causes most sickness......
