Default Flying Felix littering?

Does anyone know what happed to the capsule ‘Flying (Falling?) Felix’ used? I would expect it ascended till the balloon burst. I wouldn’t think it was high enough to burn up. I haven’t read about it crashing anywhere.

just a few seconds after felix landed, there was radio chatter about the balloon. it was already started descending, under control i believe. im sure it landed just like felix and was recovered.

So they could let the hellium out a little by little? That would make sense.

It was a controlled landing at the launch site.

On a side note you wouldn't believe the amount of "Space Junk" surrounding earth. http://www.space.com/8334-junk-space.html
