I am happy to say that I have had neither. As I am allergic to eggs I can't have the flu vaccine.

I dont do Flu Vaccines. I hate needles, no I actually have a severe fear of them so Id rather get the flu than have a piece of steel shoved into my arm. Im not usually a baby about things, Ive fixed more tool inflicted Major body leaks with toilet paper and electricians tape than i can remember and it doesnt bother me in the least but my wife doesnt like it much, "Whadga do this time?"!

Just hated needles since the first one I could remember. I dont like the airguns any better, in the midst of my worst nightmare of 12 shots in 2 minutes, some asswipe tore my tat with one in Ft Jackson at the "Reception Station", nice reception that was!

Got the shot this past weekend. Having kids and being self employed I can't afford to miss work. Had never really worried until last year, I got a cold or virus that turned into pnuemonia. I was sick in bed a least a week and felt terrible. We'll see what happens.

My wife has had a "crud" for 2 weeks, flat on her back. Doc said it was NOT the flu but Upper Respiratory Infection...Zpac and rest is the ticket I guess. I know 4 others with it now too...its really a nasty one. So far the flu hasn't got to this area in Eastern Washington...don't need it either....this is bad enough!!!

I've been down with a head cold for a week now. I flush my sinuses with a saline water with some essential oils in it twice or more daily to keep the sinus congestion in check. Works well. I'll keep it up for probably a week after I no longer am experiencing symptoms just to kick the sh!t out of anything lingering behind. Its been over a year since I have had anything, and this same treatment worked then. Before I did this treatment I would get a serious nasal infection that would turn into bronchitis from the post nasal drip probably every couple of months.

My son uses a Neti pot. I don't understand how one can use that and not drown.

Don't test it on a feral cat. Neti pots and feral cats don't mix. Trust me on this one.

Have you neti users seen the story about the guy who didn't use distilled water and some kind of infections or bacteria went to his brain and killed him?
