No shot, "a touch" of the flu for a few days, nothing bad though. I didn't answer the pill. There was no box for no shot/ little flu.

I believe the virus in the flu vaccine is denatured in some way. It's not the virus that worries me, I don't get the flu vaccine because I don't like the 'carrier' in the vaccine.

i was told the vaccine given now is synthetic and isnt the actual flu virus anymore. it shouldnt make you sick

I haven't had the flu shot in ten years. I also haven't had the flu in like 8 years. I get some horrible colds though. Uggggg

My wife talked me into getting a flu shot a few years ago. I get one every year now. Since I started getting the flu shot I stopped having to go to Dr. for some antibiotics every winter.
Getting a flu shot did not give me flu. YMMV.
