i'm thinking everything will turn out alright. good that you got ahold of him.

Why didn't I check my gmail more often???? River Rat was counting on me and I let him down.

....and it shall pass that upon reaching the clearing at the end of the path, we will all stand together, reunited with those who entered before us. Rest in peace River Rat, you are missed by those who are on this side of existence. Someday we will stand beside you in God's light, and in His love.

Thank you. The dog may still be under the care of those close to River Rat. I will keep your offer in mind if I need any help.

I have a picture of Toby RR sent to me a while ago. He appears to be a blue heeler.

Then thats where you should start if a recovery is needed. Not sure about Heeler groups in vegas...I know only Bully Breed Folks & Groups( Bulldog, Boxer, Bull mastif, Bull Terrier) As a side note: I'm sure Toby is going through some "issues" with loosing her "person",..My Gator as i have said in the past is a rescue and has flight or fight issues with other animals because he was brought in showing signs of abuse from people and was attacked by a wild animal while left alone in the desert. Right now you would never know that to see him because he's 20 ft away from me snoring is tuchus off.....

I can't honestly say I knew him , but I see the foot print he has left with in this
Very special group.! I have missed the pleasure to know you..! Rest in peace.!

That is my concern. He's probably confused and lost in the shuffle.

Correction-Sry..."His" person. I know in April when i had AN EMERGENCY TRIP to the ER by Local Rescue squad,..Gator saw me leave on a stretcher and went Nutziod! My Wife had to crate him before she came to the Hosp. and then came home without me!!
You never saw a Dog so happy to see a Person as he was when I came home 3 days later....If Toby watched RR in decline(and I'm sure he "knew") then he's really Lost no matter who is taking care of him right now...he needs lots of love from whomever is in care of him right now....

I know. That is why I am concerned for the dog. I hope to get custody of him and rehab him a little with lots of attention. I don't think I can keep the dog but I promised RR I would care for his dog and I will make it my mission to find this dog a good home where I can keep in contact with Toby. I will do right by River Rat and Toby because I am a woman of my word.
