Winds, is it possible to purchase the ticket through Delta online and not sending actual cash to Kirk? Could also handle health certificate at LV vet by a credit card called into their office. This keeps Kirk from controlling any cash, which he sounds like he might not be good with.

I'm not sending Kirk any money. He has $410 of Riverrat's money. Kirk is paying for the vet check and the crate. When I go to buy the ticket, he will deposit money into my Paypal account to add to the donations. I told him I'll only need enough to cover the ticket beyond what I've received. Once I get Toby, I don't care what Kirk does with the rest of the money.

My apologies. I should've known you are too smart for that! I have dealt with family members as an executor of an estate before and some of the attempts to grab assets amazed me. The cynic in me was working overtime last night and Kirk's actions reminded me of past experiences.

I hope you realize we're all waiting with baited breath to know exactly when Toby touches down and is in your arms.

My Katie's got some extra toys laying around.

I'm sure she'd be happy to donate some of them!

(Please say yes, I'm up to my kneecaps in dog toys...sure, they're fun, but she slobbers all over them...yukk!!)

Beautiful beagle. I'm waiting for cooler weather here then Toby can fly. I'm also waiting at least until next week when I'll have 6 days off in a row.

I haven't been paying attention here...very sad news and I hope the Toby plans work out.

Maybe Toby should become the forum mascot.........replacing The Pengie.

I feel Toby is everyone's dog since so many stepped forward to help. Though I'm pretty sure I'll be the only one picking up dog poop in the yard.

Ooh, I love the mascot idea! Notdku, we need a ruling!

Set up a PayPal account for "Toby's Pooper Scooper Account" and I bet you could hire someone off of Craigslist to help you out.
