And Sniper, if you're on Dale Hollow, I know we're neighbors.
A friend of mine is a master diver and gives classes and works there often, cleaning the marina of junk that boat owners toss overboard.
Sorry I missed your post before now, but I have fished Santee though I don't normally. That's probably the prettiest place there is but it's a good little ride for me. Plus I have 5 pretty big lakes in every direction from my house that are 10 to 40 minutes away. They range from 12,000 acres to 70,000 acres. It's hard to make that trip to Santee with Clarks Hill, Russell, Hartwell, Greenwood, and Murray all within spitting distance.

Nice aquarium pics Winds. Love the coloring on the Beta. Once the wife an i get settled somewhere that we'll want to stay long term, we'll set up another tank.

To the other's nice catches. I don't have any pics of the wife's or my catches, and I can't post scar pics from the Outer Banks spear fishing incident (my boat partner speared my left foot ), so I'll just sit back and enjoy yours.

Is Santee Lakes the place that rents the paddle boats?

That's the place where they race paddle boats. They see who can paddle the fastest to keep from getting ate by alligators or bitten by cotton mouths. Of course it's not really a race because you aren't trying to see how fast you can paddle you're just making sure you aren't the slowest.

It is pretty though. It's wild and it's big but it's gorgeous. And the fishing is pretty good too!
