Geez. All I bought was insurance for my vehicle, which was due for renewal on the 9th.

I went a little overboard with my knife and gun buying in '09, so I'm going to try to slow down a bit this year. So no new (planned) purchases for me in the next couple of months.

Candy A$$?? I have always told you guys the only 9mm I will shoot is my P08 and a John Moses Browning P35.
This is an ELITE pistol in single action that is head and shoulders above the rest. We should be very thankful to John Browning for this handgun. It is in a class all by itself. Teddy Jacobson

Wait until my Colt Umarex M4 OPS with a pink Ergo Grip gets here for my daughters birthday!
I just may start to look for the old cane myself!

I almost bought a French Mas in 7.62 X 51 to add as a collectors item to my military firearms collection....but I was reminded I was going to be leaving in about a month....so I got a bit depressed....so I saved my dough for when I come back so I can buy an DPSM AR-10 or another .308 like a FAL.

You will be able to save plenty of money in boot camp. I wonder what the base pay for a E1 is nowadays,I think it was 400 dollars a month in the early 80s. Back on track I bought another mag for my Ruger 22/45 I just got in a trade.

I pulled down $91/month as a E1 in boot back in 1967. I was in high clover back then!
I wish life was that simple now.
