I sold about 250 rick of firewood last year. This year ive got another edition to the family so not as much time or energy to do that much. All I cut and sale is hedge.

Sounds like you're a busy man. Tell me about your rick measurement. Perhaps 8'X4'X16" or 60+ cords? Here very few people sell measured wood. It's by the pickup load, short bed, long bed, etc.

I sell from my lot mostly. People come a pick up what they want so I haul very little.

I go sell by the rick 8x4x18 thats not a full rick but noone these days have a fireplace big enough for 24 inch pieces of wood.

So the rick measurement you "would use" is 4'X8'X24" which should be half a cord? That's a bunch of firewood you sold.

Well 4x8x24 is a rick. But like I said everyone has those inserts and you cant get a 24 inch piece in them so I cut the pieces 18inches.

The firewood I sell is cut 16". For the furnace & that which Cracker Barrel buys we cut 'bout 22". The window of my splitter is 24" with a 4 way wedge installed.
