Firearms Value
Does anybody know of a website that I can go to in order to find the value of some firearms? A friend of my FIL died a few weeks ago and he was asked by the widow to sell his guns but we need to know approximate value of this firearms to continue, we don't want to get screwed or screw anyone else. There are about 10 guns we have to look up, mostly older guns, all in excellent to perfect condition and very rarely fired.

I kinda wonder if the current gun frenzy has altered trditional blue book prices. After all, an AKthat was $400 July last year is near double that in some markets today.

I tried the bluebook site linked from gunbroker and it costs money to use. I was hoping to find some info without opening the wallet.

List them here. Somebody should be able to give you a ballpark, at least.

10-4, I'll try that. I'll have to get descriptions from my father-in-law cause they are at his house, he asked me to do the research for him because he can't use a computer.
The only two I have descriptions for are:
Ruger MK II, blued with tapered barrel and a single mag in excellent condition, barely fired. Serial numbers 210-85198
Ruger Single Six .22 LR (not convertible to .22 MAG), blued, not sure of barrel length (I'll find out tomorrow). Excellent condtion, barely fired. Serial numbers 60-73001
The guy who owned these guns kept them very clean and hardly ever fired them. When I get the numbers and descriptions for the rest of them and update this thread, I'll try in the next few days.
