Just got this in an e-mail and thought everyone would appreciate it.

Firearms Purchase Checklist

Should You Buy That Gun?
Check All That Apply

( ) I need this gun
( ) I want this gun
( ) I don't need this gun, but I might need it in the future
( ) This gun is a good deal
( ) This gun might be a good deal
( ) This gun would make good trade bait
( ) This gun isn't a good deal, but I owe the owner for the last good deal he gave me
( ) This gun is in great shape and would make a good investment
( ) This gun is in horrible shape but I bet I could restore it
( ) This gun's barrel is dark and shot out but I could use the action
( ) This gun's action is shot but the rifling is strong and could be used with that other action
( ) This gun's action and barrel are awful but the wood is probably good under the cosmoline
( ) I need this gun because I appreciate the engineering
( ) I need this gun because I appreciate it's aesthetics
( ) I need this gun because I appreciate it's role in history

All of them make sense to me. Does that mean the government needs to keep an eye on me? I'm sorry. The Mandatory Sfety Course thread has me fired up!
