I remember the days at Osan Air Base, South Korea and the food stands out the main gate. Deep fried and tasty!

Now when stationed in Germany during the holiday season - Christmas Markets (Weihnachtsmarkt) the food (fresh mushrooms with a heavy cream sauce) and drink (Glühwein - either red or white). The village I lived in they had boar stew, once you finished you returned the plate/utensils you got a heavy shot of warm Schnapps (Not store brand either). Ofcourse, being American you do not get one shot more towards three and the wife finishes her meal you get more shots ), she will not touch the stuff.

Does anybody remember the drinking game of 3 Man. You either played with drinking beer, mad dog, or liqueurs (Jack Daniels, Brandy, or whatever was available)?

Default Ahhhghhlrrggg!

ALA Homer Simpson! I miss the delightfully "bad for you" "Perogs" aka
"peroshkis" that we used to get at a "kiosk"/snack-stand in Vasa Finland!
It was a deep fried "burrito type" sandwich with ground beef & cheese that
still makes me nearly drool with delight when I think of one! There were
many kiosks in the major citys & most of them had the "misspelled" english
sign on them offering "Hot Snakes" rather then "snacks"!!! YUM!!!
