The only thing that beats my wife's biscuits and gravy is my grandma's biscuits and gravy

Chicken Fried Steak, Eggs (scrambled), biscuit in place of toast, all covered in sausage gravy and atleast (6) pieces of BACON!!!!

It might kill me someday, but not before I claim my fair share of them first.

Sugar-cured bacon and country ham, eggs fried in the bacon grease, gravy made in the bacon pan, my Grandma's buttermilk biscuits, grits w/ salt, pepper, butter and cheddar, and sourwood honey for such biscuits that didn't get smothered in the gravy.

That right there could be my last meal, and I'd die contented.

Eggs over medium, bacon crisp, hash browns crisp, rye toast, and (blasphemy) instant coffee.

Tango, fried eggs in the bacon pan was our standard deer camp breakfast when I was a kid.

Believe it or not, that's exactly what I had Saturday morning. I had to fast Fri night so I could go for blood work on Sat morning, and they didn't open 'til 9:30 am, so nothing until 10;00 am, then straight to my favorite breakfast retaurant. Two biscuits covered in sausage gravy, two scrambled eggs, three strips bacon, and hash browns and coffee. Unbeatable, although, my cardiologist probably wouldn't have approved.

Good lord...bacon, steak, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, is that even a breakfast food? Haven't you folks heard of the ongoing cholesterol problem in this country?

2 pretzels and a can of red bull...unless I have all morning to lay around digesting then it's scrapple and eggs over easy...and no, I have never eaten nor seen a grit.
